We have been receiving some great pictures and reports form our volunteer groups in the last couple of weeks. So far, 64 groups have sent in notice of their cleanups. We have had 882 volunteers pick up over 2000 bags of litter from our roadways and interchanges across the province. We are very appreciative of all of their hard work!

We have had some terrific community-type cleanups taking place. The Enfield / Elmsdale & Area Lions Club had help from the local Scouts, guides and brownies. The younger volunteers cleaned up around the park, and the older helpers carried out the roadside cleanup. They were treated to pizza afterwards!

The Lake Echo Lions Club had assistance from  Lake Echo Seniors, Minor Ball Members, the Boaters Association & community members.  The picked up approximately 100 bags of garbage!  This certainly would greatly improve the appearance of their area.
