When choosing forms you must first figure out which type of roadway you will be cleaning, please see the following breakdown:

100 Series Highways
For safety reasons, cleanups along 100-Series Highways are not permitted.

HRM Roadways
Currently HRM roadways are not able to be adopted, please call 311 or contact us with any questions.

Provincial Roadways
Roadway Adoption Application
Roadway Clean-Up Permit
Interchange Clean-Up Permit

Provincial roadways are available for cleanup and adoption subject to availability and safety concerns. If you are not sure if your roadway is HRM or provincially maintained please contact us and we will be happy to help. You may also click here to view the HRM street information map.

Report A Damaged Sign

Our Adopt-A-Highway signs are an important part of our program. The signs give our volunteers the recognition they deserve. They are also proven to help reduce the amount of future litter found along the routes.

We ask that you please report any damaged, broken, or downed signs that you see along your travels so that we have the opportunity to ensure they are repaired or replaced.
